UPSC CSE Preliminary Examination (Prelims)
The UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination (Prelims) is the first stage of the UPSC Civil Services Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. It serves as a screening test for selecting candidates for the Main Examination.
What is UPSC Prelims?
UPSC Prelims is an objective-type examination consisting of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). It tests a candidate’s general awareness, conceptual clarity, and aptitude.
Marks obtained in Prelims are not counted in the final merit list.
